It’s been a busy couple of months here at Mogiv with no signs of stopping anytime soon. Lots of new faces and features to keep up with, and – while more excitement is on the horizon – we wanted to take a moment to fill you in on some of the new tools that are available for you and your organization to begin taking advantage of TODAY!
It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s a FACEBOOK APP!
That’s right, Mogiv finally has its very own Facebook app. With this new feature, your supporters will now be able to make donations to your organization right from your Facebook page. Better still, they can do all of this with the same giving tools they’re already using on your website!
Ready to leverage Facebook as another channel for generosity? Good news. It takes all of 45 seconds to setup! THIS VIDEO will walk you through the process. You can be fundraising through Facebook by the end of the day!
One more way for your donors to impact your bottom line
As part of our ongoing effort to provide you with the best possible giving platform at the lowest possible price, we have added an additional option to our giving process. There is now a checkbox on the giving form that will give individual users the option to cover the processing fees for their gifts. It’s a small step on their part, but – when checked – it will allow 100% of their intended gift to end up where it belongs. In your checking account!
Below is an illustration of what this checkbox looks like in action. To add this option to your giving forms, simply add “&pickuptab=1” to the end of your embedded Mogiv URL.
“Playing Well With Others” (aka: New ChMS Integrations)
Mogiv already has auto-integrations built with Fellowship One and Church Community Builder, but we’re always looking for ways to make it easier to use Mogiv side-by-side with your favorite church management software. We’ve recently rolled out an “export builder” that makes it easier than ever to import your Mogiv transactions into ACS Technologies. Similar tools are in the works for PowerChurch and Servant Keeper. Don’t see your ChMS on this list? Drop us a line at info@mogiv.com. We’d love to get it in the queue!
Enhanced Reporting Options
Last but certainly not least are some long-awaited improvements to how Mogiv reports transactions that have been refunded. In the past, these transactions would simply drop off your reports which could make reconciling your bank statement a real chore. Now, you’ll see both the initial transaction AND the refunded amount listed on your Reconciliation and Deposits reports. Our goal is to make Mogiv just as easy for you as it is for your givers and this is one more way for us to do just that!
What’s Next???
We’re not nearly done! In the next couple of months we’ll be rolling out an entirely new look for our admin and giver “dashboards.” More mobile, more user-friendly, more prettier. We think you’re going to love them! That, combined with some additional enhancements to our text-giving platform, should make for a BIG 2015! Stay tuned…
